Another bad Franchise experience, or lack of due diligence?

I just received this e mail message.....read below

I am not sure why the internet is so full of bad experiences. Surely someone can write a "Good" story for once. There must be some as most franchisees are a happy bunch. Where are they ?

 

PLEASE DO NOT TALK TO ME IN REGARDS TO THE SUBWAY FRANCHISE.

We bought a subway, and the only people making money from our subway,

was doctor's associates, saladino's, (who is owned by doctor's assoicates)

and any other company associated with Subway, aka Doctor's Associates.

We sold our subway to the regional manager in order to get out of owning

a subway franchise.  It was the worst investment we had ever made, and

wished that we had never bought a subway in the first place.

 

 

 

OUCH again...... I suspect this person did not do much due diligence work before purchasing the store, did not speak to enough other owners, and probably overpaid for the store and so on. That is why I am here-to help you avoid such situations by asking the right questions
